Becker’s Hospital Review: A CEO to Know Leslie Marsh

Our partnering hospital, Lexington Regional Healthcare Center (LRHC) recently had their CEO, Leslie Marsh, MSN, RN, named as a CEO to know by Becker’s Hospital Review. Leslie became the CEO of LRHC in 2010 and has always been an advocate for rural healthcare. In September 2017, Leslie was awarded for excellence in service by the Nebraska Hospital Association.

NCH Names Gina Frack as CEO

Congratulations are in order for our partnering hospital, Norton County Hospital (NCH) in Norton, KS. On December 23, 2017, NCH hired Gina Frack to be their new CEO. Frack originally joined NCH as their COO in October 2015 and has served as the interim CEO since the end of June 2017.

We wish Gina and NCH the best of luck!

Purple Heart 7 Summits Team has Completed Their Mission!

The Purple Heart 7 Summits Team has completed their long walk down the mountain! Congratulations to the team, Benjamin Breckheimer, Eric Meyer, M.D., Bryan Scheer, M.D. and Chris Klinke! Pictured below is Eric, Benjamin, and Bryan (left to right) showing they are all smiles as they stand on the summit of Mount Aconcagua.

Staff Sergeant Benjamin Breckheimer is USA retired combat wounded warrior and Purple Heart Recipient. Together the team helped Benjamin become one step closer to accomplishing his goal, capturing the continent’s 7 tallest peaks. Benjamin has now achieved 4 of the 7 peaks, Mt. Elbrus, Europe (2014), Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa (2016), Mt. Everest, Asia (2017) and now Mount Aconcagua, South America (2018). #incredible #American300 #purpleheartsummits

Purple Heart 7 Summits American300 at Base Camp

The Purple Heart 7 Summits American300 Team made it to base camp a few days ago. Pictured on the right side below is Bryan Scheer, M.D., RPM CEO & Co-Founder, and a fellow team member. The team is trying to submit the mountain on January 9th or 10th, weather permitting. Best of luck!

Update: Purple Heart 7 Summits American300

On Wednesday, January 4th the Purple Heart 7 Summits Team checked in on route to Da Plaza Argentina Base Camp. According to American300 Tours’ Facebook page, the base camp weather is good for next several days, but the upper mountain is getting pounded with high winds, extreme cold ( -5F ) and snow through next Tuesday.

Purple Heart 7 Summits American300 Tour

On December 27th, RPM co-founders, Bryan Scheer, M.D. and Eric Meyer, M.D. headed south with the Purple Heart 7 Summits American300 team to climb Aconcagua in Argentina.  Aconcagua is located in the Andes mountain range and has an elevation of 22,837 ft.
