Dr. Ken McCalla, Urologist, and Lexington Regional Health Center (LRHC) held a wellness talk last month to promote Men’s Health. According to Dr. McCalla, “It is important to speak about men’s health because all men, if they live long enough, will develop prostate cancer. Fortunately, blood tests can be used to help detect this cancer.” Among prostate issues, Dr. McCalla’s practice center on the following: testicular, and bladder cancer, erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, kidney stones, male infertility, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), varicocele, hydrocele, cystitis, UTI’s, urinary retention, circumcision, vasectomy, Botox injection, and catheter management.
